As a young girl, I accompanied my father to his office darkroom on weekends, fascinated by the process of developing photographs. In my 20’s I bought my first SLR, a Canon AE-1, that I used to turn my fascination with photography into a part-time hobby.
Now in my 40’s, I’ve picked back up where I once left off, switching to the digital format this time. Last year I acquired my first DSLR, a Canon 40D, along with a set of new Canon lenses. I’m learning how to get the most out of these new ‘toys’, building my knowledge and creativity base as I go along.
I do post-processing in Adobe Camera Raw and CS4.
I am available for candid portraits in the greater Kansas City area. You can email me at Heyjules(dot)mwg@gmail(dot)com.
All comments regarding my photography are highly welcome.

I too am filled with awe in the beauty of God’s creation. Thanks for the view!

This is a lovely blog. You’ll have to go on my blogroll. It’s very funny though – we have many of the same photo blogs on our ‘rolls.’

I’ve enjoyed browsing through your images, which are lovely, clean and well designed. You’ve got a good eye and you’re clearly a dab hand in photoshop without letting it overwhelm your images.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers,
Paul
