Backyard Beauty

The only thing more numerous in my backyard than the dandelions are the wild violets.  I know I should probably put down chemicals to stop all this from coming up but I hate doing that to the environment and, dang it, they are just so darn pretty…

    I could never use chemicals. I actually apologize when I have to mow over them.

    Oh wow. Don’t think I’ve seen this “flavor” of violet. Pretty!

    My purple Clematis opened up this weekend all at once! I’ll be posting tomorrow. Sunshine has arrived in full force. It’s about time!
