I was cleaning up my hard drive this weekend and closing out my photos for the months of January and February when I ran across a series of photos I took just a few days after I received my new Canon 40D.  I even posted this same photo awhile back and many of you really liked the original version.

However…

I downloaded some new PS actions on Monday and was playing around with them when I ran this photo through one of those new actions and Kabaam!  That photo popped like an over blown baloon!

It just goes to show you that you’re never really done with what a photo COULD be…you just have to reach a point where you no longer care to make it better than it already is.  I’m almost to that point with this photo…but not quite:-)

In the meantime, here’s the new pumped up version for your viewing pleasure.

  3. Wow…
I just got a new computer here at work, with two new screens – and my initial reaction to seeing this photo was “ouch – are these new screens so off the color balance?” Hahah – then I read the text saying you had tweaked the photo :D

That would make a beautiful pattern for an autumny wooly sweater ;)

  6. Ankush, I have downloaded them from several sites. If you’re interested, email me and I’ll tell you which ones I am using and liking the most.
