My blogging friend, Bonnie, had a beautiful photo of last fall’s leaves titled ”Leftovers” on her photoblog the other day. It reminded me of some images I shot this past weekend and so I dug one of them out and played around with it yesterday. I ended up going with a sepia effect because I thought it brought out the grain of the leaves the best. So here’s my tribute to Bonnie’s original post – c’mon everyone…show us your seasonal leftovers!

beautiful shot, love the details, and contrast. btw i like this theme you are using for your blog, it seems more suitable for photoblogs than the one i am using, since it allows you to display photos in a larger area. hmmm

I know Ankush…that’s why I picked it. At first I was a little leery about throwing a 5 x 7 photo up here after all that time of cutting them down to 4.5 x 6 but now I’m really loving it. Feel free to steal it if it works for ya. The only thing I don’t like about it is you can’t make your own header.

Julie, you changed the look of your blog! I like it a lot.
This leaf jumped out at me when I clicked on “Sepia” in your column on the right. I love sepia or b/w shots of leaves. Nothing shows up the detail quite like desaturated color. This is beautiful.
