March 22, 2008 — HeyJulesI was arranging some of the spring’s first daffodils in a vase today when I noticed a few drops of water had escaped.
I loved the abstractness of the shot and knew it had black and white conversion written all over it. If you look closely in the big drop that’s my kitchen window being reflected in it’s lines and curves.

Wow! It looks like an eyeball with a contact lens on it to me! If you rotated the photo, you might have a cross in the reflection.

Very beautiful shot, and I agree, B&W was the way to go.
I would be arranging spring daffodils too, if we hadn’t had nearly 8 inches of snow on Friday, with more expected Sunday and Monday. My daffodils are still just barely poking their green above the soil. Lucky you!
