The Way I See It

Winter Green

You have to look pretty hard to find anything green around here once winter settles in.  If it weren’t for the boughs of the evergreen trees the world as I know it would be nothing but white and brown.

So when I see a touch of green this time of year, I feel compelled to photograph it…to memorize it…to drink it in.  Another month from now and green will be popping up everywhere but, for now, I cling to winter’s only green – the needles of the mighty pine.
